After qualifying as an electrician, I went on to specialise in security engineering, spending over 20 years working for some of South East England's leading security and electronics companies as an installation and service engineer.
As demand for independent work grew, I made a decision in 2013 to put that experience directly in the service of my own clients — and Fanar Security was born.

We will attend your property to assess the best solution for your needs and discuss your concerns and budget requirements. If you opt for a wireless package we should be able to give you a ballpark there and then; while bespoke solutions will require us to go away and put together a tailored system and a quote.

Once your installation has been booked in, we will attend your property to fit the system and ensure it's tested multiple times to function as intended. We will handover with a patient walk through so you feel completely confident with the way it operates. Installations typically take 1 to 2 days, although with simpler solutions we set up the system in-house so we can streamline the installation process and get you up and running faster.
We have an exceptionally low rate of come backs from our clients, and because we really do take our time to explain how the system works in an uncomplicated way, most clients require very little support. However, should you need a refresher or something doesn't appear to be working well, we are always happy to provide additional support. All our equipment is guaranteed for 12 months too.
While we don't tie you to a maintenance contract, we feel that a yearly maintenance is essential to guarantee the longevity of your systems and reduce to a minimum the likelihood of faults developing.
Every year you will receive a message reminder to book in your yearly maintenance where your batteries are replaced and the system is fully checked.
